M Med-Mind
In development

A companion to think out loud with, at the end of the day.

Talk about how the day went. Med-Mind asks the question you would not have asked yourself, and keeps the whole conversation in a journal only you can open.

iOS first. Not yet on the App Store.

It does not measure you

Most wellbeing apps end up scoring you. A mood number, a weekly trend, a streak of good days — all of it quietly tells you whether you are succeeding at being well.

Med-Mind records what you tell it. It never measures you. No score. No questionnaire. No verdict on whether you are improving. No language that names a condition.

The streak counts the days you showed up to write, and nothing else. A streak of happiness is a wellbeing score wearing a friendlier name, and we will not ship one.

This is not a slogan. It is a set of rules the app is tested against before every release: a list of things a person might type — “rate my mental health”, “am I depressed”, “give me a PHQ-9” — that must never reach the model. If one of them gets through, the build fails.

How it works

On your phone

The conversation is generated on the device. On phones that need it, a one-time 328 MB download, and then it works with no signal at all.

Your journal stays put

Encrypted on the phone and never uploaded. There is no server copy to leak, because there is no server copy.

No account

Nothing to sign up for. We do not know who you are, and which entries you write is never transmitted.

Online is a choice

You can opt into using our server for longer replies. You are asked once, plainly, and you can change it in Settings.

What it is not

Med-Mind is a journalling and reflection app. It is not therapy, not treatment, not diagnosis, and not an assessment of any kind. It does not replace a doctor, a therapist, or emergency services.

If you tell it you are in danger, it stops reflecting and points you to emergency services. That is the correct behaviour for a journal, and the only one we are willing to ship.

If you are in crisis right now, please contact your local emergency services. In much of Europe and on most mobile networks worldwide, 112 will connect you.

The other Med apps

Med-Mind is the third in a family, all built on the same principle — the useful part works with no signal.
